About  the University of Augsburg

The University of  Augsburg, affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, is a private university located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Established in 1869 as Augsburg Seminarium, a Norwegian-American Lutheran seminary, the university now has an enrollment of around 3,000 undergraduate and 800 graduate students.

The university is renowned for its service learning approach, where volunteering in the community serves as both an instructional method and a mandatory component of students’ coursework.

Augsburg University Scholarship Application

  • To apply, students may submit their admission application through the application portal of Studentenkanzlei. For scholarship applications, the necessary documents can be obtained by contacting scholarship@aaa.uni-augsburg.de. 
  • In order to be considered for admission to a degree program at the University of Augsburg, students must fulfil the program’s entry and academic requirements. Additionally, students are required to provide proof of proficiency in English and/or German by submitting scores from one of the following language proficiency tests:

Benefits of applying for the Augsburg University Scholarship
