If an applicant’s bachelor’s degree is not in an appropriate field, they may be required to complete a qualifying year or a one-year diploma before being admitted to the Master’s program.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have achieved a minimum of a 2:1 degree or international equivalent. Additionally, applicants will need to submit a 500-word supporting statement that showcases their academic achievements, career aspirations, and how postgraduate study will help them achieve their goals.
SOAS Scholarship Application Process
- To apply for the International Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants must complete the online application form. Before submitting a scholarship application
- They must also apply for admission through the online postgraduate application system for Taught Masters programs.
- The admissions cycle opens on November 1st annually, and the deadline to apply for a Taught Master’s program is July 31st, 2023.
- To be admitted, applicants must meet the minimum requirement of a UK upper second-class (2:1) or its international equivalent. Complete entry requirements can be found on the website.
