Benefits of MEDIT/ACI Ph.D. Scholarships
MEDIT/ACI Ph.D. Scholarships 2023-24 in Turkey at Ibn Haldun University will cover the majority of the costs of studying in Turkey for free. The following information is provided in detail:
- For the 2023-2024 academic year, the tuition fee for a full-time student in the four-year Civilization Studies Ph.D. program is $12,000 USD.
- All students are admitted into the tuition price with various funding options.
- Tuition expenses will be waived for successful applicants, as well as positions as a Research Assistant and/or Teaching Assistant.
- Students who achieve the highest levels of academic performance and linguistic skills will get a monthly stipend ranging from 3500 to 4200 TL.
- Ph.D. scholarships include the preparatory phase for Turkish and Arabic (up to one academic year) as well as the four-year duration of the doctorate program.
- Scholarships are available for nine months out of the year. They do not include the summer months.
- The Summer Scholarship is open to married students and/or Ph.D. candidates who have passed their comprehensive exams. They will earn a stipend for a total of 12 months each year.
- Scholarships and Assistant Scholarships are renewable on a yearly basis.
Note: Scholarships are subject to assessment and termination by the Education Evaluation Committee in the event of academic failure.
