Curtin University Scholarship Criteria

  • All Malaysian students are eligible to apply for the award.
  • The university accepts undergraduate degrees in Science and Engineering courses, as well as courses offered by the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM), except for Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Science (Nursing), Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) (Honours), and Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) (Honours).
  • Eligibility Criteria: To qualify, candidates must fulfil the following conditions:
  • Must be Malaysian citizens, enrolled as international full-fee-paying students.
  • You should not have received a scholarship from a sponsoring organization or from another Australian or foreign organization.
  • Must have scored at least 80% or its equivalent in their last completed degree, along with a minimum overall IELTS band score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in each sub-band or an equivalent level in a recognized language proficiency test.
  • Must commence their studies for the first time in 2023 at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses.
  • Must be entering the first year of a full Curtin undergraduate program, except for Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Science (Nursing), Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) (Honours), and Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) (Honours).

  • Application Process: Applicants do not need to submit a separate scholarship application. They can apply for a Curtin course via one of the university’s registered education agents or directly online. All eligible applications received by Curtin will automatically be considered for the scholarship
