The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship is a Hungarian government initiative that was started in 2013 with the goal of giving international students the chance to continue their education in Hungary. This scholarship program’s main goal is to encourage Hungary’s higher education institutions to enroll more international students and recruit top-notch foreign students.

Additionally, it aims to improve interactions between the global academic and scientific communities worldwide. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade supervises the program and is managed by the Tempus Public Foundation.

For international students with a strong academic record, the Stipendium Hungaricum program offers a variety of courses. The scholarship program provides options for full- and part-time education in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate programs. The majority of the programs are in English.

Nonetheless, there are more foreign language study programs that fall within the scope of the Scholarship. In order to pursue their higher education studies in the Hungarian language, overseas students can also enroll in a one-year preparation course in the language.

During their stay in Hungary, recipients must concentrate on improving their academic performance and can take advantage of the tuition price reimbursement, lodging, and living expenses. Graduates will receive a European degree from the universities after completing their studies, allowing them to pursue a variety of options in the international market job.
